Hello everyone. Sorry I have not updated the website since the release of the game. Of course, I was too busy with MW2 =) . I have some good news to announce today. We have teamed up with Modern Mobile to give away some free prizes. To be eligible for this contest all you have to do is post your review of MW2. I will be picking 3 winners based on the quality of the reviews and they will get the following prizes:

Illinois COD Release Party
A fellow forum member had posted on our forums to advise of any Illinois COD fans of a release party. At this party they will be giving out 10 copies of the game, 3 Xbox 360s, 3 PS3s, 5 wireless controllers for each system, head sets, etc.

MW2 and Steamworks for PC Users
Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 will hit shelves with the full suite from the well known Steam network. All PC versions will come complete with the Valve toolset which includes auto-updating anti-cheat technology, Steam achievements, and the newly introduced Steam Cloud.
The PC version of MW2 will include 50 Steam achievements, captivating players to train a local militia and earn these achievements. Players will be able to access the game from any computer. Also, through the use of Steam Cloud multiplayer game progress will be saved and can travel with the player. Awesome!
Xbox 360 & PS3 Cases
As we all know the majority of console users purchasing MW2 will be mostly Xbox 360 or PS3 users. I have come across some very fancy looking cases for both consoles. Shooting down UAVs Confirmed
In an interview with Robert Bowling it has come to our attention that shooting down UAVs is possible in MW2. Check out the gamespot video interview below.
PC Version Not Delayed
Robert Bowling tweeted that there would be no delay on the PC version. There was some pass discrepancies about whether the PC version will release on time or not but that is now cleared as Infinity Ward says:
“No delay on PC for Modern Warfare 2. You’ll also have Prestige Mode in PC as well as lots of Steam support. Hopefully min specs will be soon””
The PC Version will also be getting the prestige edition just as the consoles do.

COD Movie?!
Yes, you read that title right. We all knew it was coming. Activision Publishing Inc. filed a trademark late September and this may hint that a Call of Duty movie may be in the works. A movie based off this series is going to be a guaranteed hit. Robert Bowling from Infinity Ward twittered: “First round of meetings in Paris wrapped. Grabbing lunch with Xavier Gens, director of the Hitman film while in town. Talking game films.” Perhaps there is some progress in the making of this film so far? Feel free to discuss in our forums!
